- Description
- This is a Sole Source procurement with Energy Mechanical, Incorporated, 2413 US Route 130, Dayton, NJ 08810. Repair of Bry-Air dehumidifier model MVB-60-DG-CHW-P to include: (1) Provide all labor and material necessary ro repair the dehumidifier, including (A)Remove service access covers as necessary (B) Clean the exposed faces of all beds with a wire brush (C) Replace eight bottom bearing assemblies (D)Replace all service access cover gaskets (E)Replace the bed retaining screws with stainless steel structural pop rivets (F)Replace all missing and/or damaged access cover inserts and screws (G)Seal all openings previously cut into the duct to allow service access (H)Repair/replace electrical enclosure latches as necessary (I)Repair and adjust all damper linkages (J)Replace the regeneration steam valve actuator (K)Replace the chilled water valve actuator for the pre cool coil (L)Clean control cabinet interiors and tighter all electrical connections (M) Check operation of existing controls; minor repairs of existing controls are included; minor repairs are to be defined as no more than three control relays and one timing relay (N)Top off the desiccant beds with desiccant provided by the customer (O)Check the operation of the bed drive system and adjust as necessary; NOTE: The customer's personnel are to assist with the checking the bed drive system asn this system is of the customer's own design (P)Replace the process and regen inlet air filters; NOTE: Filters are purchased in case quantities; all excess filters will be left with the customer (Q) Replace the torn process blower outlet flex collar (R)Replace all service access covers (S)Lubrication as necessary under routine maintenance (T)Place the unit in service; adust airflows via desiccant bed pressure drops; make necessary control adjustments to obtain proper operation; test performance (U)Instruct customer in proper operation and maintenance of system / (2) Provide all labor and material necessary to repair dehumidifier fans including (A)Replace the process fan motor; NOTE: New motor is to be provided by the customer (B)Replace the process fan bearings (C)Replace the process fan drives including: (a)one drive sheave (b)one driven sheave with bushing (c)one set of drive belts (D)Replace the regen fan bearings (E)Replace the regen fand drives including:(a)one drive sheave (b)one driven sheave with bushing (c)one set of drive belts / (3) Provide al labor and material necessary to service and repair the Carrier chiller including (A)Replace the front, right condensor fan motor and blade (B)Clean the control cabiner including: (a)open, inspect, and clean all contactors (b)seal all openings where birds have been entering cabinet (c)repair/replace electrical enclosure latches as necessary (C)Tighten all elecrical connections (D)Check opeation of existing controls; minor repars of existing controls are included; minor repairs are to be defined as no more than three control relays and one contactor (E)Perform an acid test of the refrigerant oil on both refrigeration circuits (F)Adjust charge as necessary; refrigerant used will be biled at current AHR guide price (G)Power wash the air cooled condenser (H)Lubrication as necessary under routine maintenance (I)Place the unit in service; make necessary control adjustments to obtain proper operation; test performance (J)Provide two "Clyde Lock" circuit boards and one processor circuit board to be used as needed or kept as spare parts / (4)Provide all labor and materials necessary to install one hydraulic bed drive system including (A)Removal of the existing pneumatic bed drive system (B)One hydraulic pump set (C)One hydraulic actuator (D)Two proximity switches (E)All necessary control modifications (F)All necessary mounting brackets (G)All necessary hydraulic piping (H)One complete change of oil (I)One weather enclosure for the pump set (J)Place the unit in service; make necessary control adjustments to obtain proper operation / (5)Provide all labor and materials necessary to instal one high temperature alarm system including (A)One 8" duct sensor mounted in the processoutled duct (B)One adjustable electronic temperature controller, range 100 degrees Farenheit to 220 degrees Farenheit (C)One red strobe light lounted on the unit control cabinet for local indication (D)One momentary contact pushbutton mounted on the unit control cabinet for alarm reset (E)All necessary relays and miscellaneous components to accommodate alarm operation (F)All necessary interconnecting wiring, including conduits; the alarm system is to be configured to provide local indication and shut down the Bry-Air unit when the set point us exceeded for the specified time period; manual reset shall be required / All offerors will be ineligible for award unless they have registered in DoD's Central Contractor Registration database.
