Description

The United States Department of Labor, Office of Workers' Compensation Programs (OWCP), is recruiting to contract individual registered nurses to coordinate the medical management of injured federal employees. Assignments will be intermittent and part time. The areas of recruitment are New York, New Jersey and Reno, Nevada. Minimum requirements include 1) a valid RN License; 2) at least two years general medical surgical experience and 3) at least two years general case management experience. Additional experience desired includes basic knowledge of workers' compensation injuries and illnesses. Applicants chosen for this contract position will be required to attend a training session on OWCP procedures. Nurses currently engaged in federal employment are not eligible for this contract position.
