Description

NASA/HQ plans to issue, on a competitive basis, Request for Offer (RFO) W-04986-JAJ for Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Services for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). NASA intends to issue contract awards to multiple vendors under a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contractor will provide class and individual EEO counseling, alternative dispute resolution (ADR), EEO investigation of discrimination complaints, and prepare analysis for final agency decisions (FAD) and appeals. The contractor shall furnish management, supervision, staff, training, equipment, materials, and supplies necessary to provide the required services, except as expressly provided by the Government. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price contract will be issued with a 1-year basic period and 1-year option period. The anticipated contract start date is July 1, 2001. All qualified responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the agency. This synopsis is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government pay for the information solicited. The anticipated release date of the RFO is on or about February 15, 2001 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about March 15, 2001. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See Internet Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office Suite 2000 format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor the Internet site for the release of the solicitation and amendments (if any).
