Description

The Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to Johnson Controls Incorporated for system repair and control panel relocation work in the SSA West Rise Building cooling tower room. This work will include the relocation of three (3) cooling tower motor starter panels and one (1) control panel. Johnson Controls Incorporated is currently responsible for maintaining the building's heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and energy management systems under an existing warranty. The period of performance shall be fourteen (14) calendar days from date of award. See Note 22, except that any responses to this notice shall be received within seven (7) calendar days of the issuance of this notice. If no reponses are received within this timeframe, the contracting officer will proceed with a sole-source award to Johnson Controls Incorporated.
