THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 01 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR A CENTRIFUGAL WATER CHILLER. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to delete the following sentence from the specifications: "Amplitude of internally excited vibration shall not exceed 0.025 millimeter peak-to-peak when measured with a vibrometer at the compressor end of the motor." You are hereby notified that the response date for receipt of offers is amended to read February 16, 2001.
