Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) requires a quantity of 20 large-area indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) photodiodes. The following specifications must be met: 1) wavelength range: 800 nm to 1700 nm; 2) photosensitive diameter: 10 mm; 3) dark current (V = .3V): 2 microamps; 4) responsivity (1300 nm): 0.9 amps per watt; 5) dynamic impedance: 0.06 megaohms; 6) relative spatial response variation less than 1% over the active area (measured using a 1300nm wavelength laser, having a beam diameter of 0.05mm); 7) no window; 8) the detector must be surface mounted and wire bonded to a ceramic substrate having a thickness dimension of 1.1mm and area no larger than the detector area (excluding the wire bond region). The system shall be delivered within 90 days after receipt of order by the vendor. All responsible sources may submit a quotation and product description. Responses are due via mail or FAX by February 19, 2001. No RFQ package is available. This procurement is being conducted per Simplified Acquisition Procedures FAR Part 13 (NTE $100,000).
