Description

It is the intent of the National Library of Medicine (NLM) to procure professional services on a sole source basis with Ms. Mattie L. Jackson, Springdale, MD, to provide a continuation of existing services. Ms. Jackson is providing the National Bioethics Advisory Commission (NBAC) with personnel assistance for the following: (1) make recommendations to fill temporary vacancies; (2) assist in all routine personnel actions and ensure that staff receive promotions, within-grade increases, and awards in a timely manner; (3) advice and assistance to the NBAC Administrative Officer and Executive Director on other personnel issues ; (4) ensure all personnel actions are processed timely to coincide with the Commission's expiration date on October 3, 2001. Ms. Jackson has worked with the Commission in the past and has extensive knowledge of its needs and is very familiar with its uniqueness. This is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the NLM. Firms interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide professional service as specified and listed above. Responses should sufficiently demonstrate the firm's ability to meet the government's requirements. Responses are required within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this notice.
