Description

Work consists of furnishing all parts, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, services and supervision necessary to Add/Alt_Bulk Storage, Bldg 712, at Travis AFB, CA 94535-2632. The principle items of work shall include but are not limited to the following: providing demolition and removal, fire alarm system, lighting fixtures, wiring devices, Mechanical equipment, Doors and windows, Finishes, carpentry, and thermal and moisture protection. All work required by the plans and specifications shall be accomplished by the contractor even though minor items required may not be specifically mentioned in the above listing. This is a Request for Proposal (RFP), Price Performance Tradeoff (PPTO) solicitation. There will be no public bid opening. Award will be made based upon the _Best Value_ to the Government in accordance with FAR 15. The magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. The proposed contract herein is restricted to all qualified HUBZone small business concerns. The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror. All responsible offerors must be CCR registered to be considered for award. The closing date and time, on or about 22 Mar 01, for submission of offerors will be contained in the solicitation package. The solicitation package will be posted on Electronic Posting System (EPS), on or about 20 Feb 01, which can be accessed at www.eps.gov/. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation and planholder list. Telephone, written. Facsimile, or email request for the solicitation package and planholder will not be honored. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring the EPS site for the release of the solicitation package and any other pertinent information and for downloading their own copy of the solicitation package. Prospective offerors shall submit the company name, address, including your zip plus four number, telephone number, fax number, e-mail address, point of contact and identify if they have other designated size standards besides HUBZone (i.e. Woman Owned, 8(a), Disabled Veteran) to SrA Jodi R. Zachary, via e-mail at jodi.zachary@travis.af.mil, for inclusion on the unofficial source list. NOTE: The response date cited above is an estimate, not an actual. This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any bid/ proposal preparation costs.
