Description

THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE ISSUED ON THE WEB. NO PAPER COPIES WILL BE ISSUED. THE WEB SITE FOR THIS SOLICITATION IS http://www.osc.army.mil/ac/aais/ioc/. Requirement is for 1 each CNC Waterjet/Abrasivejet Cutting Machine, capable of cutting mild steel, hardened tool steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other alloy metals as much as 10 inches thick, as well as phenolic, rubber, fiberboard, and felt. Additional capabilities include cutting closed cell petroleum resistant foam (meeting the requirements listed in Federal Specification PPP-C-1752D) with thicknesses of 6 inches and less and densities of 12 pounds per cubic foot and less and drilling, contouring, and etching, in accordance with Rock Island Purchase Description (RIPD) 2400-03-2000. FOB: Destination, Rock Island Arsenal, Rock Island, IL 61299-5000. Delivery schedule shall begin 120 days after contract award. Approximate issue date 28 Feb 01 with opening date 30 days from issue. All responsible sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency. The proposed contract listed here is unrestricted.
