Description

NSN: 5999-01-333-3149, PR# YPE00318000916, Connector Switch. Approved qualified products list (QPL) sources: Kings (91836), Nexus (28986). Full and open competition applies. This solicitation is an RFP and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/Rfp on its issue date of February 22, 2001. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Specifications, plans and drawings are available. Proposed procurement contains a 100% option for increased quantities. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Various increments solicited from 5000 to 21022 each. Destination: Various stock locations. See Note 26. Copies of Military and Federal Specifications and Standrads, Qualified Product Lists and Military Handbooks may be obtained from Commanding Officer, Naval Publications and Forms Center (NPFC), 5801 Tabor Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19120. Urgent requests may be submitted by telex -- 834295, Western Union -- 710-670-3321. However, it is preferred that private industry use a simplified order form, DD Form 1425, which includes a self addressed label. Once a customer orders documents, NPFC will automatically provide the customer with sufficient blank forms to continue ordering in the preferred manner. Patterns, Drawings, Deviation Lists, Purchase Descriptions, etc., are not stocked at NPFC. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service or the manufacturer meets qualification requirement at time of award, in accordance with FAR Clause 52.209-1 or 52.209-2. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements and is cited in each individual solicitation.
