- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command intends to contract for Sustaining Engineering to improve safety and readiness and increase mission effectiveness for AV-8B Pegasus engine. NAVAIRSYSCOM intends to procure these services through solicitation N00019-01-R-0106 with Rolls-Royce, the sole manufacturer of the F402 series engines and the only firm with the requisite knowledge and expertise to perform the effort. The period of performance for the base year being 1 April 2001 through 31 March 2002 with a six month option. See Note No. 22.*****
