Description

The Deparment of Veterans Affairs Medical Center at Memphis, Tennessee is seeking sources for a windows based patient tracking software product. The software shall, as a minimum, be user friendly, capable of scheduling, monitoring transport activities such as dispatch time, delays, cancellations, and volume, and generate management reports reports related to the hospital's Patient Transport Service. This synopsis is for market research purposes only and does not constitute a Request For Prposals(RFP) or Invitation For Bids (IFB). This synopsis, under the Competition in Contracting Act (Apr 85), is to identify sources specializing in patient tracking software. This a potential small busines set-aside. Any source believing it can provide the required software as specified herein is invited to submit, in writing, an affirmative response to this announcement within 15 calendar days of the publication of this synopsis. An affirmative response includes literature, brochures and such other materials which correspond to the required software. This information will be evaluated to determine if competitive opportunities exist. All sources responding to this synopsis shall submit information related to their business size status, i.e. large, small, minority owned, women owned, etc. Responses recevied more than 15 calendar days after publication of this synopsis will not be considered. North American Identifer Classification System for this potential procurement is 541511. The small business size standard is 500 emploeeys.
