- Description
- Description: Court Security Officer services for the protection of Federal Judiciary facilities in the Third (PA, DE, NJ and Virgin Islands) Fifth (LA, MS and TX) and Twelfth Judicial Circuits (Washington, DC and Arlington, VA). The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, manpower, materials, supplies, and equipment (except as otherwise provided) and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective performance of Court Security Officer Services. The contractor shall provide at a minimum, qualified court security officers (CSOs) that have successfully completed federal, state, county, municipal or military law enforcement academy training and that have a minimum of three calendar years experience as a certified law enforcement officer with arrest authority, background investigation and physical fitness requirements. The Government intends to award separate contracts for each Judicial Circuit. The resulting contract for each Judicial Circuit will be an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, labor hour contract with one base period of twelve months and four option years. All options will be evaluated for award purposes. To be considered for award, the contractor is required to submit an offer on all facilities within a circuit(s). The solicitation will be posted at the world wide web site www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation document will not be available. The web site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will also be distributed solely through the web site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the web site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. Services are expected to commence on or about October 1, 2001. The anticipated issue date for the solicitation is on or after February 16, 2001.
