Description

Anticipated Issue Date:2/1/01. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation (F26600-01-Q-A019) is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The SIC for this solicitation is 7519. This is being solicited setaside for small business. The item description is as follows:CLIN 0001: W023-20-LAT-RINE. TRAILER, LATRINE, RENTAL. Quantity: 1 Lot: Non-Personal Service to provide all labor, tools, parts, transportation, and facilities necessary to lease and service an Executive Restroom Trailer. The trailer shall contain a women's restroom with one (1) private toilet stalls and one (1) hot/cold water lavatory; A men's restroom with one (1) private toilet stall, two (2) flushing urinals, and one (1) hot/cold water lavatory. The trailer shall also contain lighting, mirrors, and soap/towel dispensers in each restroom. The trailer shall have an air conditioning and heating unit and operate off 110V electrical circuit. Contractor shall also furnish and connect 1,500-gallon(orsuitable substitute) waste holding tank to restrooms. Contractor shall service holding tank as often as necessary to ensure appropriate standards of sanitation. The trailer shall be serviced as least weekly to replace toiletry supplies and to support a fluctuating number of people averaging about 100 at a time. Trailer unit will be delivered and set up in the rear of building 214, Nellis AFB, NV, 89191-7076, and be ready for occupancy by 15 Feb 2001. Lease period will be for one (1) year with four(4) option years. Price quotes shall be submitted by 2:00 p.m. (Pacific), 12 Feb 2001, to 99th Contracting Squadron, 5865 Swaab Blvd., Nellis AFB, NV 89191, attention TSgt Lori Washington. Price quotes may be sent by fascimile at (702) 652-9570. Modular units shall be in good condition (as determined by the Government) and meet all applicable construction and safety codes. Award Procedures follow:The provision at 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors-Commercial, applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation of Commercial items, and 52.212-3, Offeror representations and certifications -- Commercial Items, Alt I, applies to this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible, responsive offeror whose offer will result in the best value to the Government, price and past performance considered. The clause at FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial items applies to this solicitation. The clause at FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes and Executive Orders-Commercial items applies to this solicitation. The following clauses also apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer, DFARS 252.204-7004 Required Central Contractor Registration(CCR). Lack of registration in CCR will make an offeror ineligible for award.
