Description

The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound (FISCPS) has a requirement for the following AW Chesterton part numbers or equal to be installed by the Government on the USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19): 1) Mechanical Seal, P/N 643386, 1 EA; 2) Hardware Kit, P/N 697067, 1 KT; 3) Frame-M Power End, P/N 801582, 1 EA; 4) Complete Pump, Frame M, 8 x 10-13, 3 AY; 5) Complete Pump, Frame S, 1 x 1.5-8, 3 AY; 6) Mechanical Seal, P/N 630586, 1 EA; 7) Frame S Power End Vertical, P/N 801906, 1 EA; 8) Hardware Kit Gasket/O-Rings, P/N 801411, 1 KT. Offerors shall be made aware that this procurement requires that all vendors must be approved and included in LCC 19 Class AER NO. 08/00 before RFQ closing, in order to be eligible for award. It is the responsibility of each offeror to contact Mr. Joe Dobrzynski, PMS470, (703) 602-1304 x118, in order to determine the qualification and testing requirements necessary to be included in the subject AER for these items. Delivery of the items are required no later than 18 weeks after contract award. This acquisition will be solicited utilizing the procedures of FAR Part 12, Commercial Acquisition. In accordance with FAR 5.203(h), the RFQ closing date has been reduced to 10 days from the publishing of this announcement. It is anticipated that the RFQ will be issued on or about 12 Feb 01, with quotes due on 20 Feb 01. When issued, the RFQ will be posted on the Navy Electronic Commerce Online (NECO) web link "www.neco.navy.mil". All offerors wishing to submit an offer, are responsible for downloading their own copy of the RFQ from this website (WinZIP is required) and to frequently monitor that site for any amendments to the RFQ. No telephone or fax requests for the RFQ package will be accepted. An email request to "victor_b_angkico@puget.fisc.navy.mil" will be accepted in the event an offeror experiences problems downloading the RFQ from the NECO website. No bidders list will be maintained by this office. No paper copies of the RFQ and/or amendments will be mailed. Failure to respond to electronically posted solicitations or quotes and associated amendments prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals or quotes may render your proposal or quote nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
