Description

The 377 CONS/LGCA, Kirtland AFB, New Mexico, intends to award a sole source purchase order to PerkinElmer Instruments, 801 South Illinois Ave, Oak Ridge, TN 37831-0895. The objective of this effort will be the delivery of one each 15% efficient Pop Top GMX detector with a transistorreset preamplifier (PLUS option) suitable for high resolution measurement of gamma and x-rays in the energy range from 10 dev to 3 Mev. Resolution is less than 2.0 kev FWHM at 1.33 Mev. Neutron hardness is not a consideration. PerkinElmer Instruments is the only known responsible source at this time. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. Anticipated solicitation date is 20 Feb 01. Anticipated award date is 27 Feb 01. Packaging is standard commercial packaging.
