- Description
- The US Army Communications-Eelctronics Command (CECOM) Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) will be soliciting proposals for a Cost Effect Targeting System (CETS) for Unmanned Ground Vehicle (UGV) applications, through the Braod Agency Announcement process. The DRAFT BAA is posted on the IBOP at abop.monmouth.army.mil. Comments, suggestions and inputs are requested from the industry NLT COB 2 March 2001 and should be provided to the POCs listed above. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) at this time, but a formal solicitation is intended to follow. A description of the BAA is provided below. The BAA specifically addresses analysis, design, development, fabrication, integration, and demonstration of CETS propotypes integrated on to the host UGV. The CETS program is envisioned to be a two phase acquisition approach. Phase I is envisioned to be a four (4) month study including: system requirements analysis, design concepts, technology assessments, system cost projectsion, and Phase II preparation. Phase II is envisioned to be the System Development effort including: detailed design, system fabrication, test UGV integration, and demonstration support.
