Description

R -- The U.S. Department of Commerce/NOAA/Office of the Federal Coordinator for Meteorology intends to procure on a competitive basis conference facilities and support services which includes audio/visual equipment and photo- copying for the 55th Interdepartmental Hurricane Conference to be held in Orlando, Florida during the period 03/05/01 thru 03/09/01. Vendor must accommodate lodging and conference rooms (multiple on any given day) for at least 200 to 250 attendees. Vendor must provide catering and banquet services for at least 200 people at the lowest cost. Vendor must provide administrative office space for the Conference to complete its agenda items and on-going record of proceedings. The office space must be accessible for work after hours. The contractor must have secure areas to house computers and other equipment during off-hours of the Conference. Award will be made under simplified acquisition procedures. 000054vks
