Description

The Department of Health and Human Services, Office of the Secretary (OS), Office of Minority Health (OMH), plans to award a sole source simplified acquisition to the National Hispanic Medical Association (NMHA). The contractor shall develop culturally relevant content and format for the National Hispanic Medical Association's Fifth Annual Conference and also provide logistical support for the plenary and workshop speakers. NMHA is uniquely positioned and qualified to implement this proposed requirement. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. No solicitation will be issued. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
