Description: Air Combat Command is planning to purchase nonpersonal services for B-1/B-52 Aircrew Training and Courseware Development. The period of performance will cover a one-year base period with four, one-year options. The places of performance will be at Dyess AFB, TX, and Barksdale AFB, LA. The government expects to make an award on or about 14 June 01. The phase-in period will be 3 months beginning on 1 Jul 01, with a performance start date of 1 Oct 01. This action will be issued as a Request For Proposal (RFP) on or about 26 Feb 01. The draft RFP will posted on FedBizOps on or about 9 Feb 01. Interested parties should review these documents and provide any comments via e-mail to this office. The Air Force will consider and respond to all input received. Industry response is encouraged to ensure all parties have maximum opportunity to participate in this acquisition. The government plans to use the Internet and e-mail as the primary means of disseminating and exchanging information. Hard copies will not be made available. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 611512. After an evaluation of the small business potential, the government has decided to make this solicitation full and open.
