Description

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) intends to issue a purchase order for the following service: Rental of a conference facility that can also provide lodging for approximately 60 persons. The conference facility shall be located at a minimum of 35 miles from FDA_s office located at 5600 Fisher Lane, Rockville, MD 20857. The dates for the conference are May 7-11, 2001 and the times are from 8:00 AM _5:00PM. The conference facility shall provide a meeting room set-up in a classroom style, space for break out sessions and exhibit areas. This space shall also be able to provide the technology necessary for a computer workshop. The facility shall also provide an overhead projector, a 35mm projector screen, a podium, and a whiteboard, a 12 inch VHS/VCR with monitor and easel, a fax machine and a LCD projector. All responsible sources that can provide and meet the above requirements shall submit written quotations by the due date referenced above. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used for this requirement. Evaluation/Award will be based on the acceptable quote that offers the best value to the government.
