Description

Construction and installation of Erosion Control Practices at 6 sites on Fort Jackson Military Reservation, Columbia, South Carolina. Major items of work consist of 8 acres of seeding/permanent cover; 14,500 sq. yds. of erosion control blankets; 5,300 Tons of CR-14 rockfill; 2,050 L.F. of waterway; 2,400 L.F. of broad based dips; 420 L.F. of polyethylene pipe; 350 tons of riprap; 541 cubic yds. of excavation; 26 tons of supplemental fertilizer; 22 cubic yds. of flowable fill. A site showing will be held at 9:30 a.m., March 1, 2001, at the Directorate of Logistics and Engineering, Building 2562, Engineer Road and Essayons Road, Fort Jackson, in Richland County, South Carolina. Performance time is 108 calendar days after receiving a notice to proceed. The estimated price range is $100,000 to $250,000. The solicitation, NRCS-05-SC-01, will be available for mailing on February 19, 2001.
