Description

THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE. The work includes furnishing all labor, supervision, tools, materials, supplies, equipment, transportation, management, training, and Quality Control necessary for the performance of Preventive Maintenance, Inspection, and Services (PMIS) and the related Load Tests and Certifications to various Category II and Category III Weight Handling Equipment. All work shall be in accordance with the contract requirements and shall include the performance of Firm Fixed Price work and Indefinite Quantity work. This project is set-aside for small business concerns. Time for completion is 12 months for the Base Year, 1 Jul 2001 through 30 Jun 2002 with four (4) Option periods. The option periods will be exercised without further notice if they are in the best interest of the Government. Prospective proposers should register in the "Solicitation Registration" for this particular project to be added to the Plan Holders List. The Technical inquiries prior to bid opening must be submitted in writing 15 days before bid opening to (901) 874-7757 (FAX). No oral questions will be answered and no bidders lists will be faxed. Solicitation will be issued on or about 13 March 2001 and must be downloaded from the Naval Facilities E-Solicitation Website at www.esol.navfac.navy.mil.*****
