NSN 1650-01-043-2524, YPG00152000227, Motor Piston Assembly. Opens 15 FEB 01. SOLE SOURCE, OTHER THAN FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION This RFP replaces a letter solicitation issued on 31 JUL 00. This solicitation may result in a single or multiple award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract for a base plus four (4) option years. The Government may award up to two (2) contracts. End item application: F-16 Aircraft. MFG: Honeywell International Inc, CAGE: 06848, Frisby Aerospace Inc, P/N 4100573-2 or Thomas Instrument & Machine, CAGE: 5H860, P/N 87020. Estimated Annual Demand is 472 each. Quantity per order is 68. Critical Application Item, Origin Inspection IAW QAP 0007 required. FOB Origin, Line item delivery will be determined with each delivery order. Deliver within 280 days with FAT, 180 days without FAT. First Article/ Preproduction approval required by Government Testing. Sample Size 1 each. The testing shall consist of verification of conformance to the specified drawings and specifications, and may include form, fit and function on the next higher assembly (Aircraft). Subcontracting Plan required. Technical Data Package Availability: DSCR does not currently have an approved technical data package available for this NSN. Please do not submit request to DSCR-VABA. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Numbered Notes 22 & 26 apply to this procurement.
