NSN: 4720-01-407-0686, Item Description: Hose Assembly, nonmetallic. DLAD 52.246-9000, certification of quality compliance applies. DLAD 52.246-9003, measuring and test equipment and DLAD 52.246-9004, product verification testing, also applies of this solicitation/award calls for government inspetion at source. This is a critical application item. Approved sources are as follows: Hydraflow, cage code 24984, and part number 57012-3-2; Martin-Baker Aircraft Co., Ltd., cage code U1604 and part number MBEU148020. This solicitation is an RFP or IFB and will be available on the Internet at http://dibbs.dscccols.com/rfp on its issue date of 2/28/01. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total shall not exceed five years. This is an unrestricted acquisition. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This solicitation is for an NSN indefinite quantity type contract. This solicitation will result in an award of an indefinite quantity contract, against which delivery orders may be placed for one year.
