Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order to Ansoft Corporation, 7028 Wester Way, Dallas, Texas 75248 for: one Ansoft High Frequency Structure Simulator Software License (including one year of maintenance), and four one-year options to extend the term of the contract for maintenance for two said aforementioned licenses. Ansoft Corporation, is the only known company that manufactures this software and owns proprietary rights to this software. Ansoft software may only be maintained and upgraded by the Ansoft Corporation; therefore, there is no other source to acquire this software from, and the award will be made to Ansoft Corporation, under the statutory authority provided in 41 USC 253 (c)(1).
