Description

The Bureau of the Census in Jeffersonville, Indiana is in need of a large disk storage device to create a permanent storage location of all the address files that will be used and updated over the next several years in preparation for the next decennial census. The system must be compatible with SGI IRIX 6.5 and above, Sun Solaris7 and 8, HP-UX 11.00, NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and all flavors of Linux. The unit must have a minimum of 4 terrabytes of storage. Additional requirements will be included within a written solicitation. All offerors will be required to describe their system in writing and include literature on the unit they are offering. Requests for copies of the solicitation may be faxed. This will be a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR part 12. This is a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code is 334112 and the size determinaton is 1000 employees.
