Description

Provide healthcare resources in accordance with Public Law 104-262 and 38 U.S.C. 8153. The VA Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia has a requirement for the services of Registered Nurses and Licensed Practical Nurses to provide back-up coverage for individual shifts. Nurses provided by the contractor shall be required to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. The contract period shall be a base year beginning April 1, 2001 through March 31, 2002, with the Government having the option to exercise four (4), one (1) year options. It is the intention of the government to award multiple indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (IDIQ), firm fixed price contracts resulting from this solicitation. This procurement is a 100% set-aside for small business; NAICS 561320 -- size standard $10 million applies. The solicitation will be issued on/about February 15, 2001 with responses due on/about March 13, 2001. Subject to the availability of funds.
