Description
The purpose of the modification is to advise that the pre-proposal conference/site visit will be rescheduled from 13 February 2001 to 28 February 2001. The start time will be 12 Noon. Attendees must submit name of attendee(s) and name of company at least 5 days before the date of the conference and may be submitted upon receipt of this notice. Information should be submitted to FISC Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, 700 Robbins Avenue, Building 2B, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083, Attn: Mike Capilato, Code 02P21D, FAX: (215) 697-9569, E-mail: Michael_V_Capilato@phil.fisc.navy.mil. Companies who previously responded with their intention to attend the site visit originally scheduled for 13 February 2001 do not need to reply if attending the site visit/pre-proposal conference on 28 February 2001. All prospective offerors are urged to attend this conference. In order to make the conference as productive as possible, offerors are requested to submit any questions they may have in writing to Rocco D. Siravo, Contracting Officer, Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Norfolk Detachment Philadelphia, Bldg. 2B, 700 Robbins Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111-5083 by 23 February 2001. Prospective offerors are advised that the pre-proposal conference will be held solely for the purpose of explaining the specifications and terms and conditions of this solicitation. The closing date for receipt of proposals will be established in the RFP. All prospective offerors are advised that at the conclusion of the conference, unless the solicitation is amended in writing, it will remain unchanged and, that if an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of any such amendment shall be applicable. This requirement was originally synopsized on 12 January 2001 by submission number 50A8E2.
