Description

Item 0001: Service contract to maintain the Cascom system on a quaterly basis. Item 0002: Extra Day Emergency visit. Item 0003: Additional days. The following is a brief description of the work to be performed during a typical serevice call: Check all voltages of the power supplies. Check for quality of audio signal on cable and data signal on cable. Check for quality of data signal at processor board. Check charging status of all batties. Check for shorted components to ground. During each visit a representative will troubleshoot and repair on site to the best of their ability. Representative will provide a technical briefing/training session. Representative will provide documentation for any design changes to the system after each visit. Note 22 applies: Negotiations are being conducted with Industrial Technology Solutions, Connelly Spring, NC 26816. The only known source who has the proprietary drawing. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will Not be issued. This announcement is issued as N00102-01-Q-1079 and incorporates provisions and clauses effective through Federal Acquisition circular 97-20. The standard industrial classification (811213). This acquisition is reserved for Small Business. Place of service is Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth NH.
