Description

The U.S. Army Aviation & Missile Command intends to release the Request for Proposal (RFP) on or about 02/28/01 for Test Probes. The intended solicitation is for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. The anticipated closing date for responses to the RFP is 03/28/01. This acquisition will be a firm-fixed price, indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity type contract, awarded for a period of 5 years for Test Probes. The Government requires 3 First Production units along with the Commercial Off-The Shelf (COTS) Manuals 120 days after award. Th minimum quantity to be acquired is 132 each. The maximum quantity to be acquired is 182 each. The Government will not be obligated to purchase more than the minimum quantity established in the resultant contract. This acquisition will be issued utilizing small business set aside procedures. This acquisition will be conducted "paperless" to the greatest extent practical. The RFP will be available on the internet at the following address: https://wwwproc.redstone.army.mil/acquisition. After reaching this site, select "Contracting Information System" from the menu.
