Description

This procurement will under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, (FAR) Subpart 13.5, The Commercial Item Test Program. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation, Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested; a written solicitation will not be issued. When replying, reference Solicitation # M67854-01-R-3019. SIC CODE is: 3827. Small business size standard is 500 employees. DPAS Rating is DO-C9C. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-23 as of 18 January 2001. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. The contract type will be firm fixed price. The scope of work will be for purchase of Night and Thermal Vision Surveillance and Targeting equipment to conduct experiments to determine the benefit of newly developed commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment in an urban environment with the United States Marine Corp Reconnaissance Team.
