Description

Notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Dalhousie University, Dept. of Oceanography for the Pacific Marine Environmental Lab (PMEL). Purpose of proposed contract is to participate in field experiment during 6/01 and produce by 9/01 processed time series of data collected. This is a joint study authorized by 15 USCS 1525 (1997) which authorizes the Department of Commerce (DoC) to make special studies on matters within the authority of the DoC. In the case of nonprofit organizations, research organizations, or public organizations or agencies, the DoC may engage in joint projects on matters of mutual interest, the cost of which shall be apportioned equitably.
