Description

WA RRP TURN 2000(1), TURNBULL NWR HEADQUARTERS, Turnbull National Wildlife Refuge; Spokane County, Washington. Initial notice posted to CBDNet on January 22, 2001 and printed issue date January 25, 2001 (CBDNet). BY ISSUE OF THIS MODIFICATION WE ANNOUNCE THIS SOLICITATION IS A HUBZONE SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Project length is 0.480 km parking facility and entry road. Work consists of grading, base, paving; box culverts, and sidewalks. Project includes construction survey & staking; contractor sampling & testing; construction schedules; traffic control devices; traffic pavement markings; 600 cu m excavation & embankment; 860 ton minor crushed aggregate; 630 ton minor hot asphalt concrete; 19 m precast box culvert 120 mm x 1,200 mm; 146 sq m sidewalk; 48 flagger hrs; and other smaller items of work. Project is located approximately 8 km SW of Cheney, Washington. Work shall be completed by September 28, 2001. Estimated price range is between $100,000 to $250,000. The following applies only to Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBEs): The Department of Transportation (DOT), offers working capital financing and bonding assistance for transportation related contracts. DOT=s Bonding Assistance Program (BAP) offers bid, performance and payment bonds on contracts up to $1,000,000. DOT=s Short-Term Lending Program (STLP) offers lines of credit to finance accounts receivable. Maximum line of credit is $500,000 with interest at prime rate.
