- Description
- The Multiple Award Task Order Contract (MATOC) contract is a firm fixed price indefinite delivery-indefinite quantity contract to support numerous maintenance, repair and renovation projects. The task orders may include interior and exterior building construction and repair and alterations including but not limited to electrical, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, mechanical, architectural, landscaping, storm drainage, exterior restoration, waterproofing, re-pointing, cleaning, sealing, lead based paint and asbestos abatement and other repair/alterations or construction and demolition services in conjunction with renovation as specified, partial design-build services, earthwork, miscellaneous drainage structures such as culverts and headwalls, pavement repair and construction, and possibly minor civil work items. The performance area is Keesler AFB, MS located in Biloxi, MS. The duration of the contract(s) shall be for a period of one year with four one-year options. The anticipated maximum amount of each contract is estimated at up to $ 9.5 million for the life of the contract. The anticipated minimum amount of each contract is estimated to be $5000.00 for the life of the contract. The solicitation will be issued as an 8(a) set-aside restricted to Region 4 (AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, and TN). Source selection procedures in accordance with FAR 15.101-1 and it supplements shall be utilized for the basic contract. The Standard Industrial Code is1542, the NAICS is 23332 and the size standard is $27,500,000. The solicitation package will be issued in the form of a Request for Proposal (RFP) and will be made available for downloading from the Internet (Federal Business Opportunities Web-Site) address www.arnet.gov/FedBusOpps/ on approximately 15 Mar 01. The closing date is tentatively scheduled for 26 Apr 01. The anticipated number of contracts to be awarded will be three. OFFORS WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTED FROM THOSE 8(a) CONTRACTORS LOCATED IN REGION 4 AS IDENTIFIED ABOVE. FIRMS RESPONDING WILL BE CHECKED THROUGH THE SBA PRONET SITE http://pro-net.sba.gov. ALL PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS MUST REGISTER IN THE CENTRAL CONTRACTOR'S REGISTRATION DATABASE PRIOR TO AWARD OF A GOVERNMENT CONTRACT. OFFERORS ARE FURTHER ADVISED THAT FAILURE TO REGISTER IN THE DOD CENTRAL REGISTRATION DATABASE WILL RENDER YOUR FIRM INELIGIBLE FOR AWARD. CURRENTLY, KEESLER AFB IS IN THE SOLICITATION STAGE OF AN A-76 STUDY FOR THE BASE OPERATING SUPPORT SERVICES (BOS). IF AWARD UNDER THE BASE OPERATING SERVICES (BOS) SOLICITATION IS MADE TO A CONTRACTOR, ONLY PROJECTS OVER $500,000 MAY BE SOLICITED UNDER THE MATOC.
