- Description
- The Coastal Systems Station, Dahlgren Division, Panama City, Florida, intends to award a purchase order on a sole-source basis to McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Company, 5000 E. McDowell Road, Mesa, AZ 85215-9797 for the purchase of two Mann Barrel/Assy Simulating MK44, P/N 465-5516. McDonnell Douglas is the only company who makes this barrel, which must operate with government supplied mounting assemblies, control panel assemblies and breech assemblies. The contractor will deliver the barrels within nine months of award of the purchase order. Note 22 applies.
