Note 22 applies, pertaining to the source-controlled nature of this buy. The item is the Shaft, 2nd Turbine Rotor, Low Pressure, for use on the M1 Tank Engine. Item NSN: 3040-01-073-0100. Technical Data Package 12271245 dated 08 December 2000 applies and limits competition to these 2 approved manufacturers and their part numbers: ACR Industries, CAGE 57152, P/N 3-110-008-28 and Vi-Star Gear Company, Inc., CAGE 33546, P/N 3-110-008-28. This solicitation is for the award of a 5-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. The estimated quantities for the 5 Ordering Years are: Ordering Year (OY) #1 = 454 each; OY #2 = 432 each; OY #3 = 396 each; OY #4 = 396 each; OY #5 = 396 each. The maximum quantity that the Government is allowed to buy over the 5-year life of the contract = 2,074 each. The minimum guaranteed quantity that the Government is obligated to buy during the 5-year life of the contract = 180 each. The FOB Point is Origin.
