Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for noncommercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N00164-01-Q-0098 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001213. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 335999 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This requirement is as follows: CLIN 0001 Electro Impulse Level II Drawings (Item Heat Exchanger Electro Impulse Model #43060), Quantity 3 Each Hard Copies in accordance with attached Contract Data Requirements List Item A001 and attached Product Drawings and Associated Lists. CLIN 0002 Drawing Package for Electro Pump Mod Kit 52061.This requirement is issued on the basis of a sole source in accordance with FAR 6.302-1(a)(2) to Electro Impulse, Inc., 1805 Route 33, Neptune, NJ. The drawings are exclusive to Electro Impulse, the original manufacturer of the Heat Exchanger. The Government does not own rights to drawings or specifications to allow for full and open competition. Delivery is required F.O.B. Destination within 180 days after award. Final inspection will be at NSWC Crane. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the Agency. A Firm-Fixed Price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
