Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement to Airlie Conference Center, Warrenton, Virginia. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to purchase, on a sole source basis in accordance with this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemental with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation will be issued. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The Agency requires a secure facility that combines a conference room, lodging, and food meal services on one site to support the annual meeting of the Agency Technical Representatives. This site must be located within approximately one hour driving time to Ft. Bevloir, Virginia and within approximately one hour driving time to Bethesda, Maryland to permit attendees and other Agency personnel to travel between the three locations. The facility must provide a conference room, included on-site audio visual equipment, supplies and conference planner, which can accommodate approximately 75 people. The conference room will be required from 05-07 March 01. The facility must also provide three meals per day and single occupancy rooms, with private bath, starting from evening of the 4th March to (noon time) 9th March 2001, (1 week) for approximately 75 people. To be eligible for award, the facility must meet Agency security requirements for this requirement. Intended source is Arlie Conference Center, Warrenton, Virginia based on the ability to meet Agency security requirements and proximity to Ft.Belvoir and Bethesda, Maryland. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the Agency. Intended award date 12 February 01. Offeror are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. This clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercials Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Status Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
