Description

Description: This is a revision to the pre-solicitation synopsis released in the on-line CBD Net on 07 November 2000. The dates pertaining to this prospective procurement have been updated (below). The Naval Aviation Depot NADEP), Cherry Point, North Carolina has a requirement for technical data support services under Solicitation Number N00421-00-R-0500. The anticipated date for the release of the solicitation is 23 February 2001. Information released in the prior pre-solicitation synopsis regarding a site visit is hereby deleted. A site visit is scheduled for 9AM EST,10 March 2001,at the NADEP Cherry Point, North Carolina. Details confirming the time and exact location of the site visit will be delineated in the solicitation. Similarly, details regarding the exact time and location for receipt of proposals will also be delineated in the solicitation upon its release. Requests for copies of the solicitation must be submitted via e-mail to holmesl@navair.navy.mil. TELEPHONE REQUESTS FOR SOLICITATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. ALL PROSPECTIVE OFFERORS MUST USE THE INTERNET TO RESPOND. All Internet responses must provide the return Internet address, mailing address, phone number, fax number, and single-point-of-contact within the body of the response. Internet responses without the aforementioned addresses/information will not be recognized. All responsible sources may download a copy of the solicitation, attend the site visit, and shall be considered by the agency. The solicitation will be available over the Internet in WORD 97TM format and will reside on the NAVAIR Home Page, located on the World Wide Web. NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS EXIST AT THIS TIME. The Request for Proposals (RFP)/solicitation will not be released before the anticipated date of 23 February 2001. For those who have not previously responded,it is essential that you respond to this synopsis if you would like to be notified (i.e. electronically) when the RFP is released. A single email will be sent to all offerors who have requested to be notified when the RFP is released. Therefore, it is important that you re-send your request for notification should your email address change between the release of this synopsis and the release of the subject RFP. The Government is not responsible for inability to deliver to provided email addresses.
