This item is limited to the approved businesses, Derlan Precision Gear Inc, 6006 W 73rd St., Bedford Park, IL 60638-6106, Purdy Corporation, 586 Hilliard St., P.O. Box 1898, Manchester, CT 06040-2844, and McDonnell Douglas Helicopter Co, DBA McDonnell Douglas Helicopter, 5000 McDowell Rd, Meza, AZ 85215-9797. Required initial delivery with first article is 5 each 360 days after contract award (DACA) and 5 each per month until contract completion. . First Article Test Report is due 228 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Test is 5 each 240 days DACA and 5 each per month until contract completion. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source require acquisition of the part from the qualified source. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves.
