Description

The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with NMP Corporation for one ISG Switchboard which is used on DDG-51 class ships. The switchboard distributes ship service power 60HZ from one of the gas turbine generators to port and starboard zones as defined by the ship's zonal electrical distribution systems (ZEDS). This unit will be installed at the Great Lakes Training Center located in Great Lakes, Illinois and will be used as an operational trainer for military personnel. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Anticipated award on or about February 28, 2001.
