Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Uson LP for the procurement of four (4) Bleed Air System Leak Detectors, P/N 540A, for the EA-6B program. This requirement is for supplies for which the Government does not own specifications or drawings to permit full and open competition. The Government intends to procure the above supplies from Uson under the authority of 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) implemented by FAR 6.302-1 and under an approved Justification and Approval (J&A). Firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which may be considered by the Government in determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based on the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. See numbered note(s) 22.
