Description

This is a synopsis of a requirement for ship repair. This is a request for quotation (RFQ) number DTCG80-01-Q-3FA645. This RFQ will incorporate provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-21. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611 and the size standard is 1000 employees. The requirement is for the following: Contractor to provide all labor, materials, equipment, parts, services, and competence to complete the following dockside repairs on the USCGC Clamp (WLIC-75306): 1. Renew Wasted Metal Between Stacks, 2. Renew Barge Void Gooseneck Vents, 3. Renew Fuel Oil Piping in the Barge, 4. Renew 4 Access Scuttles on the Barge Main Deck, 5. Renew Door for the Paint Locker, and 6. Renew Support Pipe at Bottom of Sun Visor on Pilot House. Place of Performance: Galveston, TX . Performance period: May 28 to June 17, 2001. Specifications to be provided on request. A non-refundable charge of $100.00 required in the form of a certified check or money order payable to the U. S. Coast Guard for requested drawings. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price and other factors considered.
