Description

This project provides for repair by replacement of water system in the 100-area and various buildings on Thule AB, Greenland. Scope of the project his project provides for the relocation and repair of an above ground vertical bulk storage tank of 5,000 barrel capacity. The project includes construction of MU-M truck fill stand and secondary containment for the tank. Proper water draining facilities are provided and the tank shall have interior epoxy coating of bottom and first 4 feet of cylindrical wall and exterior protective coating.The award will be a Firm Fixed Price contract. Magnitude: Between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The anticipated performance period is between 15 July 2001 and 05 October 2001. Note: Solicitation, Specifications and Drawings will be posted approximately 01 March 01. All responsible sources may submit a proposal that shall be considered. The summer at Thule Air Base is extremely short and shipment of materials can only take place in June/July. Special Note: All discussion leading to contract award shall take place at the Contracting Office located in the Embassy of the United States of America, Copenhagen, Denmark. All parties responding to this synopsis and any costs incurred as a result of subsequent discussions prior to award of contract are the sole responsibility of the interested parties.
