Description

NASA/MSFC plans to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Configuration and Data Management Services to include Data Requirements Management, Engineering Drawing Checking, and Operation of the MSFC Release Desk. The Governemnt anticipates the award of a Cost-Plus-Incentive Fee contract with a one-year base period of performance and four one-year options. The provisions and clauses in the RFP are those in effect through FAC 97-21. The Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. See Note 26. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. See Note 1. The NAICS Code and Size Standard are 541710 and 1000, respectively. The DPAS rating for this procurement is DO-C9. The anticipated release date of RFP 8-1-0-E4-C9392 (FINAL) is on or about February 13, 2001 with anticipated proposal due dates of on or about March 19, 2001, (Volume III), and April 2, 2001, (Volumes I, II, and IV). All qualified responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. An ombudsman has been appointed. See NASA Specific Note "B". The solicitation and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will be in Microsoft Office 97 format and will reside on a World-Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
