Description

This announcement replaces the previously notice that was transmitted to CBD.net on Februray 8, 2001. The Health Care Financing Administration has a requirement for warehousing, distribution, transportation, labor support and furniture installation/repair services throughout the HCFA headquarters complex and various operational activities within the Baltimore/Washington metropolitan area. Independently and not as an agent of the Government, the Contractor shall furnish all the necessary services, supervision, labor, materials, equipment and vehicles not otherwise provided by the Government. This procurement is a competitive procurement limited to eligible 8(a) companies. These services shall be performed at the HCFA Headquarters Complex located at 7500 Security Boulevard, Baltimore, Maryland 21244 and various other locations throughout the Baltimore/Washington area as required. The period of performance for this contract shall be twelve (12) continuous months beginning on or about June 7, 2001. The contract shall contain a base year with four one-year options to extend for four (4) years. The applicable NAICS code is 493110 with a size standard of $18.5 million.
