Description

The project consists of furnishing all management, plant, labor, supplies, tools, equipment and transportation to provide the service of transfer station for municipal solid waste disposal for Fort Riley, Kansas. This shall include the transfer station, scale house and scale house staffing and all equipment and vehicles necessary in the operation of the transfer station, transportation of the waste to disposal site, and operation of the disposal site. This is a non-personal service. The Invitation for Bid (IFB) will be issued on or about 1 March 2001. The proposed contract will be a firm fixed price contract for a base and four option years. The IFB will be solicited unrestricted. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 4953. The IFB will be located at www.riley.army.mil. Please download the IFB, as hard copies will not be provided.
