- Description
- The Department of Treasury, Bureau of the Public Debt, intends to issue a commercial item solicitation to acquire digital photocopier services (mandatory requirement) and copier-related office equipment (nonmandatory requirement) on a nationwide basis. This nationwide digital photocopier program will provide digital photocopiers, related office equipment, photocopy supplies and installation, and maintenance and repair services to various federal agencies serviced by FedSource/FBA Partners. FedSource offices are headquartered in Chicago, IL, St. Louis, MO, and Seattle, WA. The Franchise Business Activities (FBA Partners) are headquartered in Baltimore, MD and Cincinnati, OH. The digital copiers are required for specific Volume Bands and various copier programs, including cost-per-copy (CPC), flat-rate monthly fee (FR), lease to ownership (LTOP), and purchase. All digital photocopiers must be fully connectable to various types of networks at the time of award. Copier-related office equipment may include but is not limited to printers, wide-format copier printers, digital duplicators, digital cameras, secure fax machines, fax machines, and optical scanners. The Government anticipates making multiple awards of Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts that provide for fixed-price task orders and have a base period with four one-year option periods. If you would like a copy of the solicitation and any amendments, please register on the General Service Administration_s Electronic Posting System (EPS) internet web site at http://www.eps.gov. An electronic notice will be sent to you when the documents are available for downloading, as the solicitation is NOT available at the time of this initial posting. Please note that the General Services Administration provides the notification service as a convenience and does not guarantee that notifications will be received by all persons on the mailing list. Therefore, we recommend that you monitor the EPS site for all information relevant to desired acquisitions. Once a notice is received from GSA, offerors need to return to the EPS web site and click on _EPS for Vendors_ and enter the solicitation number in order to locate the posting of the solicitation. You may receive a hard copy of the solicitation and any amendments (via U. S. Mail) only if the Internet option is NOT available to you by faxing your request to (304) 480-7203 or e-mailing your request to procurement@bpd.treas.gov. The anticipated due date for receipt of proposals in response to this solicitation is March 30,
