Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. DAKF04-01-Q-0021 is a request for quotation (RFQ) for the CLINs listed below. The requirement is to lease Refrigerated Vans with Tractors for the National Training Center (NTC) rotational unit at Ft. Irwin CA. Lease includes delivery, pick-up, and maintenance / repair or replacement. The offeror shall state the unit of issue, price per unit of issue, and state the total price per CLIN. The offeror shall state price per type of equipment per day for additional days beyond dates specified in the CLINS. If applicable, the offeror shall state if there is a credit for early turn-in of equipment. State credit in price per day per type of equipment. The offeror may propose an alternate delivery / turn-in schedule as long as the stated minimum number of vans and tractors are available on the required dates. Equipment shall be delivered to the MCC, Building # 828, Fort Irwin, CA by 0900 a.m.on the date required (or on a date / time proposed and agreed upon) and turned-in at the same location at 1700 on the date required (or on a date / time proposed and agreed upon). Offerors shall state maintenance response time / repair time in their quote. Effective 31 May 1998, the Government requires that all contractors receiving solicitations and awards or payments of Government contracts must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Vendors must supply DUNS number and Cage Code with their quote or provide a statement of their intent to obtain them. Government Commercial Credit Card may be used as a means for payment of a contract. Offerors are requested to state whether they will accept the credit card as a method of payment. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. CLIN 0001 -- 20 foot refrigerated van with tractor: one each from 02/28/01 to 03/08/01 CLIN 0002 -- 20 foot refrigerated van with tractor: one each from 02/28/01 to 03/17/01. CLIN 0003 -- 20 foot refrigerated van with tractor: six each from 03/07/01 to 03/31/01. CLIN 0004 -- 20 foot refrigerated van with tractor: one each from 04/15/01 to 04/29/01. CLIN 0005 -- 40 foot refrigerated van with tractor: two each from 03/04/01 to 04/27/01. CLIN 0006 -- 40 foot refrigerated van with tractor: four each from 03/07/01 to 04/27/01. Request offerors include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, with the offer. The clause at 52.212-5 , Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition.
